Rules and Objectives
Objective:
The objective of Life’s Journey is to be the first player to reach the end of the game board, successfully navigating through various life situations, challenges, and opportunities.
The Setup:
1. Place the game board on a flat surface.
2. Each player chooses a pawn and places it on the “Start” space.
3. Shuffle the question cards by color (orange for easier questions, green for harder questions) and place them in separate piles near the board.
4. Decide who goes first (e.g., youngest player, player who most recently celebrated a birthday).
Gameplay:
1. Players take turns rolling the die and moving their pawn the indicated number of spaces clockwise along the game board.
2. If a player lands on a square with an “i” in the top corner, they must click it and follow the instructions on the square.
3. When landing on the “Get Yo Life” space, the player has the option to either stay where they are or swap places with another opponent. If they choose to swap, the other player does not get to swap and must move to the nearest “Get Yo Life” square without the option to swap.
4. If two pawns land on the same square, the player who arrived first must move backward to the nearest “Get Yo Life” square without the option to swap.
5. When landing on a square that instructs the player to choose a card, they must select from the indicated color card (orange for easier questions, green for harder questions).
6. Players advance through the game by successfully navigating challenges, learning new information, and strategizing their moves.
7. The first player to reach the end of the game board is declared the winner.
Additional Rules:
– Two pawns cannot occupy the same square at any time during the game.
– Players must adhere to the instructions on each square they land on.
– Strategy, knowledge, and adaptability are key to succeeding in Life’s Journey.
Enjoy your journey through Life’s Journey, and may the most knowledgeable player win!
